Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. Emboss resist is one of the first techniques I learn with heat embossing, well after learning to heat emboss first I guess! But it is always one of the best embossing techniques there is! This technique combined with ink blending will always create stunning backgrounds in minutes. So today, I've used some fabulous Catherine Pooler products to create an emboss resist CAS birthday card. My cards have been depleted recently, so I'm building my birthday card stash back up! Written and photos Emboss resist CAS birthday card : Start...

Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. Today's post takes a look at creating 2 for 1 cards within stencils and ink sprays. This is such a great way to get more from a stencil, change the design slightly and also not let your ink spray go to waste! I'm featuring the lovely Fine Tulle stencil but any stencil you have in your stash will easily work. I've paired it with a graphic style and use bold die-cut sentiments to finish the cards off. I used some re-inkers to colour my paste - just as it was the easiest way, but you can easily use your ink pads, watercolours, sprays etc. I've combined the paste with the beautiful In The Jungle stencil...

Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. I recently got some of the Altenew Watercolour makers, and I thought they would be great for loose colouring. They are very pigmented as is, or you can dilute with water for a softer palette. When creating the card, I thought the loose sketchy feel of the PinkFresh Studio You Are My Favorite stamp set was perfect for loose colouring with watercoloyr markers. This bright fresh card is giving me all the warmth of summer! Written and photos Loose colouring with watercolour markers: Start off by heat...
