Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. This card is really fun to make. It combines a couple of techniques that are really simple but when you combine that really pack a punch and look amazing! I love to emboss resist, and this colour scheme along with the gold adds a lovely richness. So, let's get started!
Written and photos Eclipse heat embossed card:
Stamp the Parisian Portico Background Stamp in embossing ink onto a 5 1/2 ” x 4 ½” white card panel and cover with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Embossing powder. After heat setting, us a blending tool to ink blend over the heat embossing using the following Catherine Pooler Designs Ink colours in this order: Shea Butter, Sparkling Berry, Pink Champagne and Juniper Mist.

The heat embossing will resist the ink colour so after you have finished your ink blending, use a dry cloth to buff the heat embossing to clean away any excess ink. Trim this panel down to 4 ¾” x 3 1/2.

Take the OOH LaLa word die and die-cut this out of the embossed resist background you have just created. In addition, also die-cut this die out of white card a further three more times and layer up with liquid adhesive. Using the blending tool, darken up the ink blending on this die-cut.

Adhere the embossed background onto a white card base and also insert the layered die-cut back into the background to create an eclipse technique.
Lastly, add a dimensional border by die-cutting a border using the Catherine Pooler Designs Scallop & Dots die set, die-cutting this three times and layering up with liquid adhesive.
