Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. I have a lovely monochromatic card today where I have used a kraft card base to add a pop of interest to bring out the monochromatic colour scheme. When I was making this card, I originally planned to have the flower in just the fog cardstock but decided to add a few flowers in the purple to increase the contrast, and I'm so glad I did. We often reach for more and more colours to add to a card, but you can create stunning elegant cards with just a few colour cardstock and some simple heat embossing. Sometimes you just need not overthink a card and when you do the results are stunning!
Written and photos for Monochromatic of Kraft:
To start, use the Watercolor Stripes cover die from Altenew and die cut this out of some Edible Eggplant cardstock by Gina K Designs. Adhere this down with Gina K connect glue onto a kraft card base measuring at 5.5"x 4.25.
