Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. This weeks project is a change from making a card to instead making a Christmas tag or two. I wanted to try and keep the tags fairly simple as you usually you need to make more than one tag. So a simple tag is simple to mass produce! The Atlenew Mini Christmas Stamp was perfect for these tags, sized just right and scream elegance when heat embossed on vellum.
Elegant Glittery Christmas Tags details:
To start off, die cut a tag out of kraft cardstock. Using mod podge (or watered down liquid glue) apply to the top of your tag with an old brush, creating brush strokes and texture.
Before the glue dries, cover with glitter - I used WOW! Celebrations Sparkles on this tag. Tap off any excess glitter; then cover with a piece of copy paper, and burnish the glitter on to prevent any shedding.
For the second tag, instead of using glitter, I covered with a glitter embossing powder and heat set this. Next stamp the sentiment with versamark ink onto vellum and heat set with metallic embossing powder. Repeat this process for the holly and berries, changing the colour of embossing powder for variation.
Fussy cut out the stamped images and mount onto your tags with clear 3D pads. Lastly, thread some twine through the top to finish the tag off.

Until next time!
