Hey lovelies!
Today I'm sharing another Christmas card, this time using Avery Elle's "A Merry Little Christmas" stamp set!
Today I'm sharing another Christmas card, this time using Avery Elle's "A Merry Little Christmas" stamp set!
I stamped my images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them using my alcohol markers, added highlights and details with a white gel pen before fussy cutting them out. I had so much fun colouring up this set, all of the images are just too cute!
I die cut my base panel using the "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant and ink blended it with Broken China Distress Oxide ink. I sprayed the panel with my Distress sprayer and cleaned up the excess water. Once it was fully dry I splattered it with white gold metallic watercolour paint and some white watercolour paint to give the impression of snow falling.
Once my panel was dry I used my powder tool on it to avoid excess embossing powder sticking to my background. I stamped my sentiment using Versamark ink, coated it in white embossing powder and set with my heat tool. I cut an extra panel from the "Basic Rectangle" Creative Cuts and cut a curved hill shape from it with my scissors. I adhered my hill to my panel and decided placement for my images. I adhered the mouse and bear at the back flat, and popped up the hedgehog, penguin and mouse at the front using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape before adhering my panel to my card to finish!
Thanks for reading lovelies! Are you in the Christmas spirit yet? Making all these Christmas cards is really helping mine along this year!
