Hi There Friend
I just love this set from Concord & 9th, who doesn't love a little bear. Starting with an A6 piece of white card, I marked out the center of the card to make sure the bears were centred. Using the Misti to make sure they were all lined up , I stamped the outline image from the Hi There Bear Stamp Set 3 times in a line. The first bear I filled in with Memento Rich Cocoa ink using the the full bear inside stamp, I used the same stamp for the last bear but using Memento Desert Sand Ink. The...
Make a Wish
Here's another really quick card for you today Using Concord & 9th Party Wishes Stamp Set, Distress Oxides and Altenew Tiny Bubbles Stencil. I took an A6 piece of white card and taped down the Tiny Bubbles Stencil over it. Using a ink blender, I added colour with Distress Oxides in a rainbow across the card. I used Versamark Onyx Black ink to stamp the Make A and Wish from the Concord & 9th Party Wishes Stamp Set in the center. I then trimmed the white card down and mounted onto a piece of black card. It really was quick to make, maybe 10...
Happy Birthday to Moo
Here's a clean and simple card using masking and colouring. I took a scrap piece of paper and used a circle die to cut a circle from the centre. I used re-positionable adhesive around the edge of the circle to make a stencil that wouldn't slip about. I place this on an A6 white card where I wanted my image to be. I stamped the Cow image from the Lawn Fawn Hey There Stamp Set and the little cake from the Lawn Fawn Beam Me Up Stamp Set inside the circle and coloured them with Copic markers. I then used more Copic...
Summer Floral Thanks
Here's a quick card using The Ton Fresh Cut Daisies. I love this set as these are my favourite flowers. I stamped the 3 layers of each flower with Altenew Inks, I used the colours from Cherry Blossom, Shades of Purple and Pocketful of Sunshine and used Tropical Forest for the leaves. I used my Misti stamping tool to help with aligning them. I die cut 3 of the Big Thanks Sugar Script dies from Birch Press Designs from white card and glued them together to give a bit of dimension. I stuck it to the front of the card, and added...
Stretch your supplies - Mandala Hello
Hello, It's been a while since I've managed to find time to blog for you (or even make cards) but I'm here today with a few card that started out as one and grew into 4 different cards. I started out using the Altenew Mandala Die. I cut it out and coloured it using Distress oxides with a blending tool. To do this I used some repositionable adhesive on the back of the Mandala and temporarily adhered it to a piece of scrap card. When I removed the mandala from the scrap card I realised it had left the pattern behind like...
