This week I'm sharing a quick and simple friendship card because sometimes we need need something quick and easy on hand to brighten someone's day! The "Feathered" stamp set from Concord & 9th is so versatile and perfect for this!
I cut a panel down from white card stock using the "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant. I used Gina K's Amalgam "Jet Black" ink to stamp one of the feather images in a pattern all over my panel. I used my Misti stamping tool to hold my panel in place while I stamped my pattern.
While I was waiting on the ink drying on my panel I prepped some black card stock with my powder tool applicator and stamped my sentiment in Versamark ink, coated it in gold embossing powder and set it with my heat tool. Once the embossing powder had cooled I trimmed my sentiment down in to a strip to go across my panel.
Now that the ink on my patterned panel was dry I splattered it with two shades of gold metallic watercolour paint to add a little extra texture.
I used Scor-Tape to adhere my sentiment across my panel once my splattered paint was dry. I mounted my patterned panel on to a black panel I had cut down using the largest of the "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts and adhered them to my card base using Scor-Tape.
Thanks for reading lovelies! I can't wait to play more with this set! I'll see you next week with another card.
Claire
