We all love a bit of happy mail don't we? "Just because" cards are amongst my favourites to send and this "Yappy Happy Mail" set from Heffy Doodle is just perfect to show someone you're thinking of them!
We all love a bit of happy mail don't we? "Just because" cards are amongst my favourites to send and this "Yappy Happy Mail" set from Heffy Doodle is just perfect to show someone you're thinking of them!
I started by stamping my images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, coloured them with my alcohol markers and fussy cut them out. I used a white gel pen to add highlights and details to my images. I coloured the whole set because it was just too adorable!
I die cut my base panel using the Mama Elephant "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts and the laced heart from Lawn Fawn "Lacy Heart Stackables" dies. I love layering die cuts on cards to add a little more dimension!
I blended some Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink on to my heart before splattering it with white gold metallic watercolour paint and some white paint.
I cut another heart using the Lacy Heart Stackables and trimmed the bottom off to make my hill to ground my images. To add a little extra detail I weaved some red and white twine through the lace around the heart.
I stamped my sentiment on the white part of my heart using Versafine Onyx Black ink. Once my sentiment was dry I adhered my images to my panel and used a black pen to create the little dotted line between them. I added some red and white twine around the bottom of my rectangle panel, tied a bow and adhered the bow in to place using Ranger Multi Medium Matte adhesive so it wouldn't move around too much. I adhered the heart to my rectangle panel flat, backed the rectangle with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape and adhered that to my card base!
