Easy Modern Christmas card with PinkFresh Studio

Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. Sometimes Christmas cards need to be easy to make sure you have enough time make plenty to send out! So an easy modern Christmas card like this is great for bulk making. I used some simple supplies - just a few dies and paired it with a simple colour scheme that has contrast to add a pop to the card. Keeping it simple allows the modern contemporary style to come through and with this colour scheme, it still shouts Christmas. I mean, Santa called and he wants his colours back! So let's get started!

Start off by die-cutting the PinkFresh Studio Radiating Background 1 die from Gina K Cherry Red cardstock. Next, add this to a white card base with foam pads for a little dimension which is noticeable at the circle in the centre.

Next, choose two of the Waffle Flower Rectangle A2 Layer Dies close to one another in size and use some washi tape to temporarily adhere these together to great a frame. Use this die-cut out of white card 3 times and layer these up for dimension. Adhere your die-cut frame to the front of the card.

Next, use the Classic Holiday word die set to die-cut a sentiment out. Here I used the Season's Greetings sentiment cutting the shadow out of white and then add contrast, used black card for the main sentiment. To add more interest, use foam pads to adhere this to the front.

Lastly, finish the card off adding a selection of gold sequins to add a little shine. Christmas wouldn't be complete without a bit of gold would it?!
