Hello lovelies!
This week I'm sharing a Valentine's Day card using Mama Elephant's "Little Bear Agenda" stamp set! I have a feeling these cuties are going to be appearing in a lot of my love themed cards this year!
This week I'm sharing a Valentine's Day card using Mama Elephant's "Little Bear Agenda" stamp set! I have a feeling these cuties are going to be appearing in a lot of my love themed cards this year!
I stamped the entire set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them using my alcohol markers, I like to batch stamp/colour when I know I'm going to be making lots of cards with this set! I added details and highlights using a white gel pen and fussy cut my images out.
I cut down a piece of white card stock and used the "Halftone Stencil" from Altenew to ink it up with "Tumbled Glass" Distress Oxide Ink. I used Avery Elle's "Photo Mat Elle-Ments" dies to cut out my polaroid photo frame from my card stock and once extra with some plain white card stock. I adhered both of the photo frames together to make it a little sturdier.
I took the pieces of the scene from the white layer of the die and coloured them to create my background. I used my alcohol markers for the grass and clouds and "Tumbled Glass" Distress Oxide Ink once again for my sky. I cut some trees from Lawn Fawn's "Shadow Box Card" dies and used my alcohol markers to colour them also. I adhered my photo frame to some white card stock the same size as the frame itself and assembled my background inside it.
I added my little bears and my trees to my background scene. I took a panel of white card stock slightly larger than the largest of the "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant, smooshed some of the "Tumbled Glass" Distress Oxide Ink on to my glass crafting mat, sprayed it with water and placed my card stock on top making sure to dry between each layer. I repeated the process with some gold watercolour paint before cutting it with the largest of the "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts. I cut a vellum layer using the largest die from the "Framed Tags" Waverly Creative Cuts by Mama Elephant to separate the background from my polaroid frame. I adhered these three layers together, stamped my sentiment from Neat and Tangled's "Beavers Eh" stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black ink and cut it from the washi tape die in the Avery Elle "Photo Mat Elle-Ments" die set. I popped my sentiment up on the vellum using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape to match the thickness of the photo frame, adhered my panel to my card base and added some blue Nuvo Drops to finish.
Thanks for reading lovelies!
