Coffee With A Splash Of Love! Using Altenew's "Coffee With A Splash" Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
Sharing another love themed card this week, this time I'm sharing my love for coffee with you using the Altenew "Coffee With A Splash" stamp set! This style is way out of my comfort zone as I'm familiar with using cutesy images on my card, it's always good to dust off the cobwebs and dive in to something a little different!

I started by cutting two panels of card stock from the largest and second largest of the "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant, one from black card stock and the other from white. I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink (Minis Kit #3) to create the coffee background by placing some of the ink on to my glass craft mat, spraying it with water, repeatedly placing my white panel in to it and drying between every layer. I used the same ink and some gold metallic watercolour paint to splatter my panel also to add a little more texture to the background. Once my panel was completely dry I stamped my coffee stains all over the background using Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I cut a circle from black card stock using Honey Bee Stamps' "Double Stitched Circles" Honey Cuts. I prepped my circle with my powder tool applicator, stamped my coffee cup with Versamark ink and heat embossed it using Lawn Fawn's white embossing powder.

I cut a sentiment strip from white card stock and prepped it with my powder tool applicator. I stamped my sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink, coated it in clear embossing powder and set it with my heat tool. I adhered both my black circle with my coffee cup and my sentiment strip to my background with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape before adhering my background to my black panel. I adhered this to my card base and finished with some Ebony Black Nuvo drops for embellishment!
