Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. Sometimes the most simple of cards is the best. However, no matter what occasion your crafting for you can easily step up a Classic style with a pop of colour! This card features the beautiful the Altenew Tall Foliage stamp set, which does suit a slimline style card, but you can easily use the stamps on a smaller size card. So let's get started!
Written and photos Classic style with a pop of colour:
To create a pop of colour, first we need to create a monochromatic background first. Stamp the two foliage designs directly onto a white cardbase in Morning Mist from the Warm Gray Altenew Ink collection. Stamp these at varying levels to create interest in the background.
On a separate piece of card, stamp the floral in Lagoon ink for the foliage. Next, stamp the floral in Ultramarine Ink to get a multicolor stamp. You can easily stamp the single design in two colours by just wiping of any ink in the areas of the stamp you do not want.
Next, use the coordinating die to cut out the coloured stamped image and foam mount this onto the front of the panel. In addition, stamp a sentiment from the stamp set in black ink.
In addition, embellish the cards with Moonstone Droplets from Lucy's cards. These are a beautiful natural gem that adds a little shine but continues to allow the floral to pop!
