Today I'm sharing a birthday card using the adorable "Big News" stamp set from Mama Elephant! I love that this set comes with so many sentiments so it can be used for all different occasions!
I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp my images using Gina K's Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I added some highlights and details with a white gel pen before fussy cutting them out.
I used the "Watercolor Stripes" stencil from Altenew with Broken China and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks to create what is going to be the background of my panel. I distressed my panel using my distress sprayer and splattered it with Pine Needles Distress Oxide Ink.
I used the Mama Elephant "Framed Tags Waverly" Creative Cuts to create a window from white card stock and trimmed down my background to fit behind it. I adhered the two together using Scor-Tape.
I adhered my balloons flat to my background with Scor-Tape and my characters with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape to give some dimension. Once everything was in place I adhered my panel to my card base with Scor-Tape.
