Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. When creating cards, I like to make several at a time with the same set, and this Pierced hexagon die set from Avery Elle is great for this. I kept the three cards within the same colour scheme, showing how easiest is to create 3 different designs, but you can create many more different cards buy simply just changing the colours. So why not create 3 ways to say Thanks with just one die!

Card 1
For this first card, die cut the leafy branch out of white cardstock several times. Next using Gina K Connect glue, adhere these onto a white card base measuring at 5x7". Make sure you allow the branches to overhang for a more natural-looking pattern. Once dry, trim off any of the excess pieces.
Next, die-cut the pierced hexagon out of blue cardstock and foam mount onto the middle of the card base. For the sentiment, die-cut the thanks out of white cardstock and cover with embossing ink. Cover the die-cut in gold embossing powder and heat set; repeat several times for a smooth dimensional sentiment. Using connect glue, adhere the sentiment onto the heaxgon and add a small additional embossed sentiment from the Sentimentally yours stamp set.
For a finishing touch, add a few Pale gold Nuvo crystal drops.
Card 2
For the card panel, die-cut the pierced hexagon from a piece of white cardstock measuring at 4.75X 6.75" and add score lines horizontally every 1/2" down the panel for subtle detail.
On another piece of white cardstock, ink blend Blueprint Sketch Distress oxide in the middle and blend out to Chipped Saphire on the outside. Make sure this covers the aperture of the hexagon on the card panel. Foam mount the panel onto the ink blend panel and then adhere this to a white 5x7" card base.
Next, die-cut a selection of the flowers and leafy branch out of white cardstock, along with 3 of the 'thanks' word die. Layer the eh thanks die-cut pieces using Connect glue for dimension
To add the gold, 'smoosh' a variety of flowers into an embossing ink pad, cover with gold embossing powder and heat set. Next, adhere the flowers, and leafy branches in and around the hexagon die as though this is a window you are looking out through. Adhere the layered 'Thanks' die-cut in the middle of the hexagon.
Lastly, embellish with Pale Gold and Gloss White Nuvo Crystal drops, adding these to the centre of the flowers and dotted around the foliage.
Card 3
To start off, ink blend using blending brushes Chipped Saphire Distress oxide onto a white card base measuring at 5x7" offset to one side. To add a little more interest to the background add some matching paint splatter by smooshing the ink down onto a non-porous surface and add a little water to the pick up with a paintbrush.
Using the leftover white hexagon die cut from card 2, add score lines horizontally at 1/4" down the hexagon. Next, foam mount the hexagon onto the card, offset to one side and trim off the excess that overhangs the edge.
Once more, die-cut several of the flowers and leafy branches from white cardstock. Leave some of the pieces white, whilst either adding Chipped Saphire to some of the leafy branches with the direct to the paper method, or gold emboss the flowers.
Adhere all the floral and leafy branch elements to the card at different levels for dimension. For the sentiment, die cut the word 'Thanks' from blue cardstock three times and layer up for dimension. In addition, add a white heat embosed sentiment from the Sentimental stamp set and foam mount on to the card.
Lastly, use a combination of the Nuvo Crystal drops to embellish the flowers and card design.
