Using Minimal Colors with Altenew Coloring Book

Altenew exotic blooms kittenmoose watercolor

Hi friends, today is the last card in my series using the Altenew Coloring Book, Exotic Blooms.
This is the black ink image (a few weeks ago, I did the same image but no-line watercolor). I love doing both images as you get completely different looks, and it's always a great way to practice.

For this card, I only used 3 Daniel Smith watercolors! Keeping things simple isn't always easy, but the finished project looks beautiful.

I pulled some of the Ochre and green out of the image for a softbackground. Once dry, I then used the same colors to create a splatter, which really ties the whole card together.

Next, I trimmed the colored panel down to 5" x 3.75" and mounted with foam pads onto an A2 card base.
I stamped a sentiment from the Notes of Love set, by Catherine Pooler, and trimmed it to size, adding it to my card with foam pads.

I hope you've enjoyed the many images I've colored with the Exotic Blooms watercolor Books, and I can't wait until the next installment comes out!

Thank you and have a great day!
